Sam is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with multiple years of outpatient sports experience in New York City. Throughout his time practicing, Sam has trained athletes for the NFL Combine as well as special operations military personnel at elite performance facilities in Florida. Sam is a trusted and respected provider to many orthopedic doctors in New York City and values the dynamic collaboration he has been able to create between Medical Doctor, Physical Therapist, and Personal Trainer.

Sam has a passion for educating others and is an integral member of the adjunct faculty in the NYU Department of Physical Therapy. Sam values patient education and takes pride in his ability to explain the rationale behind specific exercises, allowing patients to maximize the benefits of their time and help facilitate independence towards a healthier lifestyle. Dr. Tim Blackley, PT, DPT, MS, CSCS

Tim is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.  He began his career working in the business world in Manhattan, but quickly realized his passion lay elsewhere.  Tim is an athlete, which naturally led him into the field of sports performance and rehab.  After completing his Masters in Sport Science with a concentration in Strength and Conditioning at Hofstra University, Tim began what would be a successful personal training business.  Three years later, Tim would go on to complete his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Columbia University, where he received advanced training in orthopedics and sports.  Tim has traveled the country working at elite performance facilities, training and rehabbing professional athletes from the NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL.

Whether it's acute rehabilitation or enhancing sports performance, Tim utilizes an exercise-based approach that helps his patients channel their inner strength.  Tim values education and is enthusiastic to teach all of his patients about the nature of their ailments.  This philosophy helps his patients foster a sense of independence and ownership over one's own health, ultimately improving outcomes. Tim enjoys traveling with his wife, spending time with friends and family and playing golf.  Tim is also a native New Yorker and loves chatting about all things Knicks and Giants.

Dr. Sabrina Yakubovich, PT, DPT, CSCS

Sabrina earned a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Temple University before completing her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at New York University. With a lifelong passion for movement, she spent 18 years training in both ballroom dance and ballet —an experience that continues to inform her clinical practice.

As a physical therapist, Sabrina has had the opportunity to work closely with performing artists, helping cast members from Broadway productions such as The Lion King, Hadestown, and Hamilton return to the stage safely and confidently. While pursuing her doctorate, she also became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), which expanded her ability to work with athletes across disciplines, from injury rehabilitation to performance optimization.

Her background as a personal trainer and dancer allows her to blend strength, control, and artistry into her treatment style. She is passionate about not only helping patients recover, but guiding them all the way back to doing what they love—stronger than before. Outside of the clinic, you can find Sabrina dancing, catching a Broadway show, or enjoying a stroll in the park with her dog, Maple.
